For starters, come hungry! There is always lots of delicious food to munch on while we chat in the cafeteria!
As far as dress goes, we realize that it is usually warm in Arizona (a bit of an understatement) so most people dress pretty casual. It is perfectly OK to wear jeans, shorts, sandals and/or short-sleeves.
Otherwise, we invite you to join us as we worship together through music, prayer, and teaching.
Our Sundays look pretty standard with one possible exception...we usually teach in more of a dialogical fashion. Meaning, there will usually be times during the sermon where we would appreciate your insight - so by all means, feel free to speak up! Don't worry though, this is totally optional and we understand if you need to get your bearings before you feel comfortable participating...no pressure!
One more note...although the school is relatively easy to find, the cafeteria isn't always obvious...so be on the lookout for Missio Dei signs!
We really like our kids to worship with everyone...for at least part of the service. So, we will usually sing a few songs together and then dismiss the kids to go with our Missio Dei:Kids volunteers for the remainder of the service.
While at Missio Dei:Kids, the children will be taught the same lesson that everyone else is learning, but will do so in a way they will appreciate.
( We prefer to limit Missio Dei:Kids to those children who are in 5th grade and younger)
