The Chosen Beloved One: Joseph is Chosen and especially Loved by his father
The Dream: Joseph receives a foreshadowing in a dream of his brothers and father bowing down before him.
The Betrayal: Joseph is betrayed by his other brothers. Some more evil, but every brother was complicit, and therefore, guilty. Have you ever been betrayed?
Forsaken: Joseph undergoes unjust suffering and forsakenness. Have you ever been unjustly accused?
Hope: God is with him in the midst of suffering and forsakenness. Also, there are reminders of the promises in the midst of suffering and forsakenness
The Great Reversal
The Tension: With the opportunity to repay his brothers for their betrayal, will Joseph kill them?
