Saturday Sessions: Theologica
Saturday Sessions are back: March 27
Thanks to everyone who has been coming out and learning through the Saturday Sessions. We want to keep on doing them, but here's the deal, we are going to be mixing it up a bit. I know, add sarcastic "Kevin and Chris always mix it up" comment here. Instead of gospel counseling 101 we are going to be peeling the wrapper off of two fresh teachings. The question is which ones?
For the Saturday Sessions we want to be teaching what you want to be learning, and are setting the arena in theology. So are there doctrines, themes, systems of theology, etc.. that you want to learn about? POST them here, and we will sift through them, pick two, and then be teaching on them March 27.
Sidenote: If you want to learn the content of the Gospel counseling text, post, e-mail, or yes maybe even talk to Chris or I and we'll set up a time to make sure that happens.

Thanks Jeff. We also got some e-mailed in suggestions for thinks to discuss/teach through. Any last minute ideas before we narrow it down?

yes - can I throw in my support for spiritual disciplines. Also, more in depth on the gifts of the spirit - I especially think we lack in joy and peace. Does that mean our love or self-control is coming from our own strength when all of the gifts aren't showing up etc.

I'm loving the desire to be involved in gospel drenched disciplines. Thanks for the thoughts.

"Jesus never taught his disciples how to preach, only how to pray. To know how to speak to God is more than knowing how to speak to man. Power with God is the first thing, not power with men. Jesus loves to teach us how to pray." - Andrew Murray.
I read that the other day and thought it was so awesome.
